Power Play Caiman Hybrid

$139.00 AUD

Power Play Caiman Hybrid

Good Choice for all Handicaps

The Power Play Caiman hybrid is a high-performance option to replace those long, hard-to-hit irons in the bag with some of the latest technological know-how. The pull-face construction utilizes an active maraging face insert welded to the 4-31 stainless body to help increase the spring-like effect and further save weight. Additionally, the score lines are CNC milled rather than cast or stamped into the hard S42 face material. A variable crown thickness (as little as 0.5mm) in the non-stress area of the head, which is the thickness of 5 sheets of paper! This concept was utilized to shift needless weight to a more desirable location deep and low within the head to propel the ball high and land soft. Weights and lofts are normalised so they produce repeatable and predictable distances to the same numbered iron. This makes it easier for the average golfer to fill a particular yardage gap without guessing at which loft to purchase.

Material 43-1 Stainless Steel/S42 Face Insert Hybrid Type Maraging Face Hybrid
Finish Black with Red & Silver trim How Easy To Hit Very Easy
MOI High Best For Scores All scores
C of G Low     Best For Flexes L-A-R-S-X

An Hybrid is an easy to hit iron intended to replace the more difficult to hit longer irons and not to replace a fairway wood. It is a different beast and easier to hit than a fairway wood. For best results we recommend that you select a shaft that is comparable to your irons set: steel for steel; graphite for graphite. Choose the same flex of shaft and the same over or under-length. Hybrids as a rule launch the ball on a higher trajectory than your regular irons and ball travel is generally longer but with more stop-spin
