Bribie Island is a Ross Watson design one hour north of Brisbane in the Sunshine State. The course is receiving very good reviews from all who play it. I played the course recently and loved it - the warm temperatures certainly helping (whilst the rest of Australia was freezing). On this particular hole water abounds from tee to green. There is a small bail out area left of the green but one is then faced with a tough chip to a green with water behind. Golf is meant to be fun but with shots like this one could question this belief! The variety of holes and constant challenge (with water, sand, trees and large, heavily undulating greens) at Pacific Harbour makes it an enjoyable day out. I would strongly recommend a game at Pacific Harbour and GOLFSelect can help you experience this golf course as well as all others in the region as part of a tailored golf holiday.
